Life sciences research and biotech innovation are priority areas for Research Luxembourg. With the Biofit event – the leading partnering event in Europe for technology transfer, academia-industry collaborations and early-stage innovation deals in the field of Life Sciences – Research Luxembourg wants to entail new partnership and, facilitate the emergence of collaborative R&D projects.

Gathering more than 1,000 international participants from over 35 countries, BioFIT is the leading partnering event in Europe for technology transfer, academia-industry collaborations and early-stage innovations in the field of Life Sciences. BioFIT is also the European marketplace for pre-seed, seed and Series A investment in Life Sciences.

All eyes on Luxembourg Bioincubator

The incubator is part of the House of Biohealth, a hosting facility with office and lab space for both established companies and start-ups in the fields of biotech, cleantech and ICT.

The House of Biohealth currently hosts 9 companies and two public research laboratories that are part of the Luxembourg Institute of Health (LIH) and the Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine (LCSB). Around 450 people work in various areas such as diagnostics, medical devices and digital health.
